Still in progress as he’s been doing it around working full time.
Still need to do the back of the garden, but the fence needs replacing first (party fence which the neighbours have offered to get quotes for etc, so waiting for that) then we can finish it off. Hubby replaced fence that can be seen on our side, and he’s had to do certain things due to how the garden was left.

Before

Now - still in progress

I’ve tried to take pics to show the same areas. The garden is tiny, only around 35ft long, but it was so cluttered and overgrown that it looked smaller. It looks much bigger already only two thirds finished 😊
Looks great, love the wooden steps 😀

Great job . The wooden steps are good but just be careful of slipping on them. you can get not slip treads to screw on to these if required.

Nice job working some different materials into your build. Economical and gives a nice contrast/texture to the garden. I like the wall/seating.

It’s really beautiful, but I’d want a small house for £25k 😂

We're in the midst of a back garden makeover just now. Been ongoing since almost start of lock down. We have a large back garden, long and sloping and ends up with a flat area at the bottom. All grass and had a dog run/kennel, wendy house and old wooden play frame the kids used growing up. We have put up a big wooden frame, looks like a big oak garage without any sides and has an almost tiled roof now. We are laying same slabs I think as in the above picture. It was going to be a concrete floor with curves but as soon as I saw the slabs I loved the different colours. We've put a new set of stairs in, they should be finished today. Our pizza oven comes tomorrow or Monday. Electricity still to be sorted and chimney needs to be installed. Want to wait until it's finished to post pics. The only thing now is it makes our existing slabs which go all the way round our house and into the front garden look shabby, so we are replacing all these, which will take some time. Because of how our ground at the side drops away we have part decking round the house and DH is going to replace all this, again because it will look terrible next to the new slabs. I have a funny feeling he will want to replace the fencing too because this will look a bit shabby!

Ha ha 😃 cannot even get a caravan round here for that 😃 5k was VAT and most of the cost was labour and a fair bit of stone, 2 tonnes of underlay etc. Took quite few weeks as they had to gut the whole garden first and we have a tiny passage so transport of stuff out and in done with wheelbarrows. Attaching some pics of during the work.
