Same for me I'd love a lavender hedge but know from sad experience mine look great for 1 year then it's down hill...

We have lavender all around our front lawn. It smells lovely and the bees love it, it's the favourite part of summer for me when it blooms.

Tom, our lavender blooms every year, you have to cut it right down to the stumps as soon as it stops blooming, usually sept/Oct.
Then it will bloom again the next year... I love the stuff 😄

I have just been out to pick some lavender from our garden for the house. It's very tall and sadly got battered down in the heavy rain we had a couple of weeks ago. It's just coming back and more rain is forecast so thought I would pick some. Theres so much you cant notice.

Our neighbour let's a bee keeper keep hives on their paddock and I think every single bee is on our lavender, it's really wonderful to watch them.

I went to one in Yorkshire a few years ago. It was gorgeous!
