Hollywood & vine/fantasmic/Disney Junior characters

I'm slightly confused I think.

If you book lunch at Hollywood & Vine you get preferred seating at Fantasmic.
Lunch at Hollywood & Vine features the Disney Junior characters.

Is this right - because it's almost two for the price of one!

Or am I missing something and if you see the characters you don't get preferred seating or vice versa (no idea how that would work though!)

Hi

You don't get the preferred seating by just booking lunch - you actually have to book the dining package. Afraid I can't help on the character dining bit. But I can say that we di this with Tusker House in Animal Kingdom last summer when they had the Jungle book show on and we had characters at lunch and the preferred viewing.

The Disney junior characters will only be there for breakfast from May 14th. It will then be Minnie's seasonal dine for lunch and dinner. You will need to book a fantasmic dining package to get your preferred seating ticket for fantasmic.

I didn't know that and have a Disney junior mad pre-schooler. Had planned to do the lunch but it will be breakfast now. Thanks for the info!

Meeting the disney junior characters is more important!

There's a lovely Disney junior meet & greet just near the Disney junior theatre, outside the Star Wars launch bay. Sofia, Jake. Doc mcstuffins and, randomly, Pluto. There was no queue and we had fab interaction there.

treat it like 2 things

1) brekkie with the Disney Jnr gang
2) Lunch/dinner with Minnie with or without passes with good seats for fantasmic

we did both last year this way.

We went on a dibb busy day guide best day and had a blast, the place was half empty and we got lots of visits from the gang. Near the end the kids and characters all sat down and drew together.

You will also be able to meet Doc Mcstuffins at AK from this month. She will be outside the vet clinic at Rafiki's planet watch.

Fantasmic package is now available for breakfast. I have cancelled my 10am reservation and booked a fantasmic breakfast reservation however I am now concerned about the cost which I read is $51 rather than $35. How can they charge $16 for a show that may be cancelled if it rains?!
