Green Flag Recovery

Quite impressed. Flat battery this am, son at work so no jump start. Rang Green Flag and they were at the house within 30 mins. Tested the battery etc and he reckoned we needed a new one (probably as we have had said vehicle for years) and as we are towing on Monday better safe than sorry. He sourced a battery replaced it, not easy on a Picasso as it is under the front seat. All done within 2hrs, thankyou Nat West also as it comes with our account.

That’s great service...I will be changing when the years up from the AA! We broke down on the way back from Weymouth...we was near Blandford...we only had roadside...the AA man was good...but couldn’t fix the problem...so I had to upgrade to get the car home as it couldn’t be towed...but because of Covid, we couldn’t travel in the recovery lorry as there wasn’t and Perspex screens up, so my husband, myself and 5 year old granddaughter had to make our own way back!

That's pretty poor Jenny about not transporting you home. Lets be honest they should carry a supply of masks on the wagon as it's no different to getting a taxi!

I thought they advertised as an 'emergency service'

As an aside I was with Green Flag for years and found them fine. Always buy via Quidco for a discount.

I may be wrong but aren't they part of Direct Line Insurance?

Good to hear we are moving from the AA this year
Two cars and a run of bad luck , flat battery twice one each car — and a damaged tyre due to a pothole
Which couldn’t be avoided without a
Crash .. AA couldn’t get to us before 6 hours on each issue
and twice the person told us they hadn’t got the job through until half an hour before they turned up and we paid for platinum cover , if you complain they tell you it’s the pick up guys fault

Been with green flag for years. We have never had to use their service but our son (When he lived at home was a second car on the policy and who has only been able to afford older cars) used them quite a few times for various reasons. Always very prompt, even in the middle of the night down a country lane on one occasion. And before anyone gets any wrong ideas he skidded into a ditch
