ALDI, Championsgate/Davenport area

Got back from our Christmas jaunt, where we stayed at Sandy Ridge.

Just thought I would let people know, if anybody is staying in the area, there’s a new Aldi being built, the shell is up, and they were just fitting it out with the electrics etc. I am assuming it will be up and running in the next couple of months.
Other side of the WAWA garage is a Taco Bell, that’s up and fitted out, so shouldn’t be long before that’s open.
It’s on the corner of Old Lake Wilson. Opposite corner to the Publix.

They’re building another on the 192, about half a mile from the 27, right opposite Publix. It’ll be a while yet but the frame is going up now

This will ideal for the rolling oaks villa resort area. In April we saw lots of new building going up along that part of 192. Obviously to feed the new resort.

If you mean Margaritaville, I don't think that is the reason at all. I live in the area as do 1000's of others. There is huge growth in the 192/27 area for residential housing not just tourist accommodation. The local schools are bursting at the seams and are constantly enrolling new students (they aren't allowed to say "sorry we are full" here). Currently the nearest Aldi's are 20-30 minutes away. They haven't been in Florida that long and seem to be following a plan to put one in every busy area about 15 minutes from each other.

Celebration is also due to expand enormously south of the high school. There will be so many new houses that the plans include a new K-8 (primary/middle) school. Their zoning doesn't even allow holiday lets.

Down our end of the 27 the growth in residential housing is enormous Aldi down here have expended the store and refurbished the Haines City store I have been in this week it looks good
