Hello
Long time lurker!
I enjoy reading the forum, I don’t always agree but then it would be a boring life if we always agreed! Been travelling to Florida for around 30 years, took my kids now take my grandson too (still taking the kids! ) DVC since it started, OKW was the only option then and still love it! Still finding out new things and picking up tips. Looking forward to participating! |

Thank you - it’s nice to be here.
We own at OKW. We bought in at the start of DVC. I love all the new resorts but have not really been tempted to add. The poor availability winds me up - I’m not a happy planner and the spontaneity seems to have gone! Think if I was to add it would be AKL. Love to stay there. |

Oooops sorry I didn't read your original post properly
We loved AK Lodge from first glance so it was no contest for us really lol Why not make a plan to stay there for a couple of nights on your next trip... I don't see how anyone could not love being there |

I hope you manage to get a reservation next time
We go back in January but only for a couple of days deducted from our previously booked holiday - we'll be at Anna Maria Island from end of Dec to 19th January but decided it's silly to be in Florida and not to have at least a few days at Disney; So we'll just leave AMI early to get our 'fix' lol We're then only a short drive away from MCO for our flights home on the Sunday. We'll be back later in the year with our son, daughter in law and two grandchildren to AKL for a fortnight. That's dependant on the kiddies October half term dates. Fingers crossed Edited at 04:08 PM. |

That sounds just the thing for January!
Yes you think you’re done with planning around school holidays and then grandchildren come along! |
