I'm really surprised Circus Circus hasn't been imploded yet.

If you are just doing a three night stay I would not try to fit in GC, it is a full day just to sqeeze it in and really deserves an overnight stay. I would suggest, after such a busy trip that you just do Vegas itself, including old town, and fit in Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, Valley of fire etc which are a !of closer if you get "bored" of Vegas itself. Family friendly isn't really done in Vegas any more but the jousting show in Excalibur is fun, the pool area in Mandalay bay is decent and if you want well equipped apartment accommodation rather than just a hotel room then the desert rose resort is worth a look which has very good apartments, if rather budget in pool/lounge facilities. NB these are all at the South end of the strip rather than the more " central" resorts already recommended which are a bit pricier but which, I would agree, are great resorts.

We stayed at the Vdara and absolutely loved it, I would definitely go back now we have a little one as loved that being a non-gaming hotel it was very chilled and laid-back. Only down side would be that the pool is less exciting than many others so perhaps not as appealing to kids!

We stayed at Elara and it was great for my niece and nephew (7 and 5). The pool area hadn’t got the same party atmosphere as the others we’ve stayed at so was much more family friendly.

They stayed in the 1 bedroom suite and it was a fantastic room. The kids loved the big bath in the bedroom and the giant projector TV.

Tahiti village resort, no casinos, kid friendly, complimentary buses to strip, freemont, supermarket and red rock. Lazy river. Great apptments ours had a washer and drier.Within walking distance Southern outlets.

Depends if the kids still share a queen bed? A lot of rooms are smaller and can't always accommodate a rollaway. This is the issue we are having. We've decided on the Elara. You can have 2 or 3 bed with a sofa bed too, it's in a location you can head straight into a mall for food too, yet no smoking or actually casino. So seems perfect for both worlds.

We stayed at the Venetian, plenty to do for kids.
Avoid Circus Circus; we visited to look at the 'theme park' and left after thirty minutes.
