Buying a Villa

Aww there no way when we rent a villa we leave it a mess we clean the villa vac wash and change all the bedding and clean n wash out the showers and loos pots n pans n bins then it's more cleaner when we leave it than we got it.
We have never broken or taken anything (( it's someones home at the end of the day ))

I agree - wouldn't dream of misusing someone's home. When we stayed in a villa we received an email from the owner to thank us and say that the mgmt co / cleaning co ? had rang him as they were so impressed with how clean / tidy we'd left it - said if they didn't know better they'd think nobody had been in it since it was cleaned for our arrival (and that's with 5 children with us) If you wouldn't let people sit on your suite in wet costumes etc why would you in someone else's ? Can't understand some people

beware ..buying for your own use is very expensive on the upkeep..
Electric bills (Ac needs to be on all the time to avoid mould/ condensation ), water, pool clean and maintainence else it will go green..garden attention ...
a management co to make sure all is well
huge real eate tax once a year ...insurance , HOA fees
and this is all withouit the mortgage (if you need)
limits on how long you can stay per year
I use for around 2 -3 months in the winter and then rent for the reat of the year
I enjoy the renting and the refurbishments...I have plenty of time to do all that
If you were thinking of using just for your personal use ...you could think of a condo or townhouse...and save on pool care, garden...but you would not have your own pool and have to probably pay more for the Hoa fees to care for all
needs a lot of homework and careful thought about what you really want and can afford monthly /annually...for a relatively short stay...
