Disneyland first week of sept

We have found a good price for September the 1st only for a week to do Disneyland and California adventure. Has anyone been at this time ? How were crowd levels and the weather ?

Isn’t Labour Day the first weekend in September? I’d think locals would flood the parks that Sunday/Monday. We haven’t been in Disney over labour day but have been on the west coast the last 2 years for it and everywhere got very busy over that weekend and then like you flicked a switch went very quiet the next day.

Weather should be perfect, we caught a massive heatwave though and it was around 100°f every day 😮, but that was not the norm. As others have said, Labor day will increase crowds and you should also check when the lower AP's blockouts end for the summer, that will also massively increase crowds as DLR is very much a locals/AP parks. None of those things would stop me going if the deal was good though, just takes a bit more pre-planning.

Block out days end on the 3rd September, so with Labor day I would expect it to be quite busy at the start of September.

I am just back and had a four day park hopper which was ideal for seeing everything at a bit of leisure. They said that crowds were lower than usual due to Galaxy's Edge reservation system, whereas in September it will be open for all which will increase crowd levels.
Our wait time for Smuggler's Run was only 15 minutes so able to do it twice, tbh wasn't that excited to do it again, but the theming in the land is amazing
There are three nightime shows over the two parks, which are all worth seeing. Fantasmic is quite different to DHS, and World of Color at DCA is a must.
