That's the point I'm making - without the Groupon, you'd have paid $40 for 2 bags of 75... with the Groupon you paid $25 plus the $15 for the Groupon - so $40 - for 2 bags of 75. You've saved nothing.
My maths is out on my previous post, cos I bought the bar of chocolate as well and I'm no mathematician, but basically the Groupon is only worth what you'd paid for it, unless you don't want to buy more than one bag of 75. I'm grateful to the OP for posting, and this is in no way a criticism, I just wanted to make others aware that it's not as good as it seems.

I only paid $10 in store, so my total spend including the Groupon was $25. $15 for the Groupon and then $10 in store to take my $30 credit up to the $40 tag on the 2 for 75 deal.
Basically she let us apply the voucher to the existing offer because the till let her do it even though the Ts&Cs say otherwise. Edited at 06:00 AM. |
