Castle Tour at Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has done the castle tour and how this is organised & what I'd need to do to join the tour.

Resigned myself that I won't fit on the rides so the castle tour will be the next best thing.

TIA

I think this is just a wall through of the single rider line. You would ask as you approach the line and the CM will direct you.

The Forbidden Jourbey has 2 sizes of seats. On one trip I was told I had to seat in a specific seat as the restraint wouldn’t latch. So don’t write it off without trying. I think the outside seats are larger.

Thanks Bev. I will try the seat but not too optimistic.

I have read somewhere about asking cast members when the next castle tour is so there does seem to be some sort of arranged tour.

I'm not 100% sure if we're referring to the same thing, but in October I asked to go through the 'castle tour' line without the ride and she said it's been replaced by the express line.

Definitely worth the queuing, even if you don't get on the ride at the end. You should be able to get out via the parent drop bit. The theming is amazing!

Last time I was there, it was a walk in the single rider queue. Once you get to the end, the CM will ask if you're riding and if not they'll let you out a side door.

The problem with the single rider queue is it misses out a lot of the normal queue 'entertainment' and is more direct. Great for getting on the ride quickly but not so good for seeing the castle.

The outer seats of the benches are larger. Have you tried the ride before? There are test seats outside but I think they are the non- larger rider ones. I'm plus size and just chanced it and was fine
We just asked to walk through in 2015 didn't know there was a tour.
