Just Booked Carnival Cruise!

Hi,... after being on our first ever cruise on the Disney Wonder in Jan..and absolutley loving it as Kevin Keegan would say

... We have just booked the 4 Day cruise for our next trip in Apr this year

... sailing on the 13th april, in a oceanview stateroom on the empress deck

... to all those who are due to go on the Disney Cruise, you will " LOVE IT, JUST LOVE IT"

...and Christine ( st Kitts ) is doing the carnival in Auigust... AAAALLLLL A BOARD! , Shipmates...

We did a 4 day Carnival a couple of years ago Kev. You'll love it. Hope you have a great time.

Kev, you beat me to this thread. We have also just booked cruise - thanks to everyone for their comments - going on Carnival Glory to Western Caribbean in August. Just got a free cabin upgrade in the Carnival sale.

Just so excited.

Isint it exciting! we are with Carnival from Miami in January[Imagination] and we are on Empress deck! ... the Miami Marathon is on and Celion Dion on tour! ...I have booked my pre cruise hotel already! ...really looking forward to it...we have never done Carnival before... only Princess...but I think Carnival has more for the DGD..and besides its a lot cheaper! ..and its extra money for the shopping in Orlando

Can I ask which hotel you have booked? did you find one close to the cruiseport itself? I plan on having 5 days in Miami shopping before our cruise but had planned on staying at the Aventura Mall, but its quite a distance from the cruiseport, I may look at staying a little closer on the night before we embark, any hotel info would be much appreciated!

We have booked the 'Holiday Inn' downtown Miami for one night...it is close to the port...Bayside is over the road which is really good for eating and shopping

and the Hard Rock cafe which we love! [ dont think we have much chance in there though with the Marathon being on! ]
And we want to do the 'stars houses' cruise which is all close.
