Atlantis Aquaventure

We have just received our travel Kit for our cruise in July.

The "shore excursions" leaflet includes, what looks like a new trip to Atlantis Aquaventure.

Have looked on the internet and the water park looks excellent but at $155 per person the trip seems a bit pricey (there are 4 of us)

The trip lasts 5-8 hours so I'm guessing we won't see much of the rest of Nassau, although having read other threads this is not necessarily a problem!

Given that we have 3 waterpark days in our plan for WDW anyway I'm thinking of giving this a miss. Maybe we will just wander around the jewellery shops as Jane would like a ring for her 40th, and then spend the day onboard the ship.

Anyone got any experience of the Atlantis waterpark?

I haven't done it, but I know that alot of people book a day room at the Comfort Inn & Suites (an associated hotel to the Atlantis), which will give you access to the Atlantis Waterpark for up to 4 people ...at a fraction of the cost of the tours.
