Fast passes

Hi all,
the wife and I are currently sat reviewing our schedule and we've just realised we have made a massive (and incorrect assumption). Specifically that we could pickup a new fastpass once we have use one. Now we realise it's all three passes we need to use before the next opens up.

This leaves us with a big decision.

We have a number of days where the first two passes are back to back in the morning. Unfortunately the final one is 3-4hrs later.

On our first day we have Philharmagic and TommorrowLand Speedway before 11:00 then Space Mountain at 15:00.

Is it worth us cancelling these later ones and booking something closer, then taking our chances on the day, or would we be fools to let the big rides go?

It really depends which rides you have. Using Space Mountain as an example, you're unlikely to pick that up on the day so I would hold on to that. But PhilharMagic doesn't really need a FP as it rarely sees wait times above half an hour even in heavy crowds, and particularly not one before 11am. So I would actually cancel that one and try for a bigger ride on FP and also do bigger rides first thing when the wait times are lower.

ETA: This is assuming you can't modify the later FPs to any earlier in the day.

Oh blimey that hadn't dawned on my either.

With the "old" card fast-passes you could do once one had been activated and I haven't been since the new system came in.

Thanks for the heads up.

You can just keep refreshing MDE and see if Space Mountain/other rides come up for a better Fastpass time earlier in the day - you don't have to let your 3pm Space Mountain FP go first! Unless I remember wrongly, you can search for FPs, then when you choose a FP you prefer, you can choose to replace one of your existing FPs.

FPs come up all the time as people cancel and change their FP bookings so always worth refreshing and seeing what new FPs come up. And frankly at low crowd periods (like January) there should be good availability of most FPs except things like Flight of Passage and Frozen...

Can you get an earlier fastpass for space mountain? Philharmagic is unlikely to need a fastpass, so I'd try to switch things around
