Mobile First Night Quick Service

Hi.
We’re arriving at Orlando later than last time (7.25pm this time rather than 3.30pm) and I know that by the time we get to the hotel (the Beach Club) we’re going to be shattered.
When we went in 2016 we stayed at AKL and from memory only had the energy for a bit of resort exploring, some unpacking and a qs meal at the Mara.
Now I know that the qs offering is not exactly the selling point of the Beach Club so I was wondering what people might suggest we could do? We’ll have children with us so don’t want anything that’s too much hassle. Obviously, Epcot is on the doorstep but would it be hideous to go to on a Saturday night during F&W? !
Any tips or suggestions much appreciated. We’re not fussy eaters although I am lactose intolerant and DD not a big fan of pizza.
Rx

They have a new QS at the YC now so that widens your options. It has a lot of grab and go style food (salads etc) which is great when you just want food without faff. And there's a few things at the Boardwalk such as the Bakery - although their allergy menu wasn't great for GF, can't speak for dairy.

I wouldn't brave Saturday's F&W crowd when shattered! Although you could run in as far as the chippie since the UK pavilion is right by the IG and back out again.

Edited at 06:59 PM.

If your not into pizza your a bit stuck for QS around beach club, the QS at Epcot stop service at 9pm even on emh nights. Boardwalk bakery is nice though and it comes in takeout boxes so could always take it back to your room 😃

I was looking at the Boardwalk Bakery or the hotdog cart or pizza window for DH and DS. Are they close enough for us to divide and conquer on dinner do you know? Thanks. Rx

Thank you! As our flight is at 3pm I have no clue what time we’ll have the meal so no clue either how hungry we’ll be! Rx

We normally find we are not at all hungry on our first evening and don't fancy a full meal at all. We do eat the plane food, which is more to pass the time than for enjoyment but it fills us. So a snack such as a pastry would be enough for us on our first night. We are staying at POFQ this year so may just sample the beignets as our snack, although if we venture to Disney Springs we fancy trying the Daily Poutine. But either way, we couldn't eat a full meal

The QS at Yacht Club has some lovely sandwiches salads and meat platters in the fridge. They also have a couple of hot offerings each day. Beach Club QS offers flatbreads which my kids loved. Boardwalk bakery sandwiches are awesome...and they have pizza window too. When we got there this year later than we usually do as we took the afternoon flight rather than morning...all the kids wanted was ice cream from Beaches & cream 🙈

Another vote for Boardwalk Bakery. Stayed 2 weeks at Boardwalk last year and we just kept going back. Gem of a place.

The pizza window gets a bad rep as one of the worst pizzas on property - and there's a fair bit of competition for that prestigious title. I was sat on the boardwalk eating a fantastic meatball sub, an American family eating on the next table. They spent 10 minutes complaining about the poor quality of pizza. Too salty to be edible.
