Disney Cruise Line VIP!

Leanne .. we have booked 3 nighter for October. The cost of a Cat 12 cabin with 2 adults was $772. You can have 2 adults and 2 little children in the Cat 12s and that has cost $1330 (my little niece & nephew will be 4 & 8). If your children are more teenage, then you may need to get a different Cat room. A Cat 12 with 3 adults (youngest is 16) was $1109.
My partner and I were desperate for a verandah and have managed to book one of the secret ones (disneycruiser.com for info).. it did cost more .. $1372 but we felt it was worth it ... picture the scene ... a Bahama Mama in one hand and ... a Bahama Mama in the other! Take a peek here .. disneycruise.disney.go/dc...?name=HomePage Best wishes

Thanks for the info Bats. Those prices seem very reasonable.
There are 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 children(7 and 5). Off to look at the link.

After seeing pics can't wait to get back onboard next month
Leanne, Disney cruising varies so much in price. Last time we did a 7 night on The Magic in October it only averaged out at $700pp (after onboard discount) Next month because its Easter its averaging $800pp for only 4 nights. Exactly double the price. Anyone on a budget but wants to try cruising RCCL do very cheap 4 night cruises from Port Canaveral, booked for August $400 each for outside cabin(last year $300 for inside cabin), Disney was almost 3 times the price for inside cabin. Not in the same league for entertainment or whole experience but the food is better on RCCL.

We booked with Dreams Unlimited for this July. Our 4 nighter in a Cat 8 for 2 adults and 2 kids (13 & 9) is about $4050. This was quite a bit less the the DCL website.

The only difference should be onboard credit. A few years ago you could shop around for cruise prices but now Disney and RCCL have fixed pricing and should be same everywhere but then they are allowed to give onboard credits.
Our Easter cruise is direct with Disney as they were exactly the same as DU. Booked next year 7 nighter with DU again same price as Disney but $100 extra onboard credit.
