Question Palo and other questions

Ok, so we've decided we are doing a 7 night Western DCL in Nov 09. We are totally excited - imagine that!

We want to book Palo for the night we are going to Cozumel, but was wondering what is the latest seating we could book?

Also, since we have done a 4 night, just wondered if there are any tips or differences I should be aware of. We found the 4 night went by so quickly that we really want to enjoy the ship more this time.

We have just come back from the 7 night Western having previously done the 4 night cruise.

Our experience was that the 7 nighter is so much more relaxing, partly because we had already seen & done some shows/activities on the 4 nighter, so there wasn't the 'pressure' to do everything again - only the bits we knew we would enjoy.

We spent alot more time in our cabin enjoying the veranda (as we didn't have one on the 4 night cruise) and made full use of room service, especially for breakfast and mid morning coffee. We did feel a bit anti-social at times, because we didn't go up to the pools half as much...but then if you are paying good money for some private outdoor space, it was also good to make full use of it !
Whereas I wouldn't be bothered about a veranda on a short cruise , if you can splash out on the longer cruise you would not regret it - not least because it does kind of give you an extra room to you cabin which is more appreciated on a longer cruise.

Sorry I'm not sure about the latest time for Palo - my guess would be around 8pm. Back on board time for Cozumel is 6.30pm and most tours are back well before then if that is your concern ?

Just back from a 4night (and have done some arithmetic and the DVC points will nicely stretch to a 7night western caribbean next Feb) and we had Palo booked for 8.30pm and didn't notice anybody else come in after that
