Hi
It's always best to check with your insurance company, give them a quick call tomorrow. I know we are covered, our insurance is with Direct Travel.

yes, as Michelle says it does tend to depend on your Insurance company. Ours, through Barclays Bank, includes cover for cruises... a quick call will confirm it for you

From our experience some will cover it at no extra cost (but you MUST inform them), some will insure it with an additional cost, and others will not cover it at all.
... so check, check ,check ...and make sure they know in advance you are planning on taking one. ... I believe being airlifted off a cruise ship can be very costly in an emergency

Our policy (M&S) stated only holidays originating in the UK are covered.
We booked our cruise ourselves so it didnt originate in the UK, however when we phoned M&S we were told it was covered.
