It was the length between Formosa Gardens Boulevard and the access gates to the Westgate site as I recall. Maybe it's common over there not to surface adjacent roads until all building works are complete.

A bit like over here on private housing developments where they put the base course down and leave the wearing course off until building is complete. The developer has to enter a Bond with the council to ensure that they complete the wearing course

Mick, I apologise, But my post wasn't intended at you personally, I meant that ANYONE who drove down that part of the road without proper care could end up losing control.

Accepted thanks but I may have over-reacted a bit maybe and read into it something you hadn't intended.

To be honest we used it quite a bit up until a couple of years ago and I think it was another Dibber who put the seeds of doubt in my mind.

I'm not technical at all but wondered if maybe a shock absorber broke if I went into a pot hole would the T&C say I must pay up as I shouldn't be driving on unmade roads

Over cautious maybe but the slight detour round Livingstone only adds a minute
