It's good isn't it?

We just used the sunpass lanes as figured we've spent £x,000 on the holiday so a few bucks saved by having to faff around with change/stop at toll booths wasn't worth it.

YesI agree, no point trying to save a few quid when you have spent thousands! must admit I do get a bit of satisfaction chucking a load of coins into the basket, must be a man thing! on a sidenote from memory some of the tolls say sunpass, some say eazypass or similar are these all the same thing? in other words if you hire from alamo can you drive through any toll in Florida and the amount will be charged to you later at the standard fee? planning on driving right around Florida later this year so just want to be sure. thanks

As far as I know yes. The toll onto Sanibel used to be different but I think that's included now, if it's not it's the only one.

Thanks for that..am i right in thinking different tolls use different terms like eazypass, and sunpass etc? is that due to regional variation i.e. orlando/miami/naples? or am i just imagining!

Similar happened to us last month. We've since had a charge from Alamo for about £4

There are 3 to the best of my knowledge and but they are all compatable with each other hence only 1 transponder is needed.

Namely E-PASS, SunPass and LeeWay (Lee County) I think I'm right in saying the same transponder is also ok to use in Georgia and maybe the Carolinas?
