Replacement Flights for Sept 20

Where is everyone finding their flights from? We have been looking for return flights for 2 weeks from 01.09.20 from Manchester but nothing is coming up. We were originally booked for a package holiday with TC. I think we have sorted the tickets and accommodation direct with Disney but I am really struggling with the flights. We have never done DIY before. Any advice would be much appreciated, how much should we be expecting to spend for 2 adults and 2 children? Pref direct flights? Thanks xx

You may be too early. Scheduled flights won’t be available until around 11 months before your return date.

Flights aren't released until 11 months before your return date so that is probably why. Although it will only be Virgin from Manchester direct now I believe.

Edited at 02:00 PM. Reason: spelling

Just to give you an idea of price, we paid £405 each this year for Economy Light - Classic was an extra £100 each (includes bags and free seat selection) - we travelled on the same dates you're looking for.

We booked in April this year but did notice the prices decreased again around July time if you wanted to hold out! I'm not sure my nerves would take it though x

Omg Onion2803 mine neither, I have never not booked a package before. Who did you fly with? I don't think we can book the flights anyway until our TC refund is processed as I presume flights will need to be paid in full at the time of booking? You have given me a good idea of what we are looking at in terms of cost though, thank you xx

I am due to go at the end of September next year although from Gatwick. Someone suggested I phone Virgin as they might be able to help. I have just got off the phone with them. They were able to quote for flights only (even though the website wasn't showing any yet). In fact I got a quote for a flydrive - this meant it was a package deal and I only had to pay a deposit.

As others have said it's a little early yet until your dates are released its 11 months from your return date. I'm in same boat as you but we are going late august. I am looking at an indirect with ba (on american airlines) which will be via Philadelphia (just waiting for return flight date to be released with aa)which I think will be better than via Heathrow to miami or travelling across to Gatwick to get either Tampa or orlando.
Tui fly to sanford from manchester and they are currently available so that may be worth a look. You can also look at virgin flydrive as they will be available now and only need to pay deposit however they are very pricey and work out a lot more expensive than sorting flights and car separately once insurance upgraded xx
