Take the 2 matchsticks from top right. Place them like a cross in the top left square. Do the same with the 2 bottom left matchstick and xross them in the bottom right sq. Making 10 squares.

[Disney_time]

Take the top right match and the far right top match, also the bottom left match and the far left bottom match. Criss cross all of them, 2 vertical, 2 horizontal in one of the squares, making 9 tiny squares and leave the other square big.
