17 Days In Davenport! Day 1: Travel Day

17 Days in Davenport- Day 1 Travel Day

Up early at 6 this morning and off to the airport by 8.30. My Dad kindly came along to help with the cases and bring the car back home- and to have breakfast with his grandkids of course!

Through to departures where we chose some magazines in WH Smith & picked up a meal deal in Boots plus some swim tea tree spray!

I also picked up a bottle of Ralph Lauren Romance at Duty Free :-)

We are a half hour delayed and the plane is in and we are on Tinker Belle!

Flight was over an hour late leaving in the end, but overall was good & the time seemed to go pretty fast.

Got through immigration pretty quickly and it didn't take too long to pick up our accessible van. The only stressful part of the day was the 2 transfers for dh but we can forget about those now for 17 days!

Quick dip in the pool & now off to bed after being on the go for 20 hours!

A good start to your holiday

Hi Rachel. We were right behind you boarding the plane. I thought it was you as I knew from your posts you were scheduled to be on our flights. Hope you enjoyed our landing! My husband thought the plane was going to tip! What a cross wind that was. We arrived at our villa, straight to Publix for the chicken tenders and salad. Have managed a decent sleep. Too tired for Epcot at opening this morning so lazy day planned now.
