Disney Dream May 2026

Hi all, we are looking at booking our first Disney cruise! Just wondering if anyone had any tips, tricks or advice. I am looking at one in May 2026 from Barcelona and sailing around Italy. It is the Disney Dream cruise line.

We have a friend who has recently done a cruise leaving from Fort Lauderdale and did 2 weeks. We've never done a cruise so thought that may too adventurous! Barcelona is our favourite city, and always wanted to go to Italy, so this seems like a good option.

I usually watch vlogs of California and Orlando, Tokyo etc. but there isn't much on the Disney cruises, unless I'm missing them

We just did a week on the Treasure. We did the Dream about 15 years ago.

We’ve literally just started looking at going on the Disney dream in June 26 on the one from Rome to Greek Isles. I have been searching for vlogs and have found quite a few of that one. We have been on the Disney wish and the Disney magic from port canaveral so quite nervous about taking a European one as we don’t know how it will compare and we absolutely loved the US ones. So also looking for opinions and vlogs to watch. Happy planning 😊 I’m hoping there will be more vlogs from this summer shortly although realise those will be the Disney fantasy rather than the Dream

Just watched Adam boarding the Dream and now I want to book another cruise.

We've just been on the Fantasy which is the Dreams sister ship ,we were on the Dream two years ago. I believe the Dream was recently renovated to some extent ,so should be in good Nick.
A good tip would be to join the face book group attached to your particular cruise where you will be able to pick up lots of tips leading up to when you set sail.

Disney In Detail has a vlog series from last summer for one of the Med cruises on the Dream if you're still looking for vlogs to watch.

I second Pep's advice to join the Facebook group for your cruise, there's also the Disney Cruise Line UK Facebook group which has lots of good info tailored to Brits and the UK and Europe cruises plus DCL in general.

I've just watched Disney in Detail, which was good as she's a UK Disney vlogger, and even though I think it was a sponsored trip was a good. Thanks! I usually watch her Orlando trips.
