Cabana bay, universal entry and attraction assist

Hello, I've got a few questions. Not sure if this is the best place or I should add this thread to a different forum perhaps?

Anyway, we're looking at going to Orlando November 2018, 10 days Disney and 4 universal.

My wife has ms so staying in resort looks the best option as she'll need to sleep each afternoon.

Looking at the universal resorts, the cabana bay looks by far the cheapest and is rated higher on tripadvisor than sapphire falls. Any thoughts on this?

My main question is whether universal park tickets are included in the accommodation price? There is info that early entry to Harry Potter is included for all universal resorts and some have the express pass but do you need to buy tickets in addition to this?

Also, my wife would qualify for the attraction assistance pass so I'm wondering if there's actually any benefit to having the express pass if we have this?

We stayed at Cabana Bay last year and got a free upgrade to a family suite, which was nice. I wasn't overly impressed with the resort though. I guess the theming wasn't for me and it seemed smaller that I thought it was going to be. Things I was looking forward to e.g. the lazy river, turned out to be in an overcrowded pool area, under the shadow of a building site. We had a quick loop around and that was enough.
I prefer the landscaping and space of a Disney Resort. In future I'll stick to a few nights here and there at Loews Royal Pacific or Loews Portifino Bay just for the early hours and free express passes.
