Your holiday days really do seem like holidays! IYSWIM.
Starts off just right with that tranquil view and, of course, it helps if you can sleep in just a little bit later. Congrats to F on the fish (ETA: got my days mixed up there) and O has a point about butterflies! I wonder why they are so-called. Glad the Deet is helping.

I know they are as packed as some holidays but we enjoy the rythm!
I still haven't worked out butterflies

What I meant about 'your holiday days being really holidays' is that you do so many interesting things and it still seems relaxing. The perfect combo.

I can do bootcamp but I know my family can only survive a few days like that It is probably one of the reasons we stay longer in places - so there can be downtime too! Even after 10 days in NYC there were still things we hadn't done!
We love these holidays - we come back feeling relaxed (though poor J is still suffering the effects of the festival today - over 12 hours on his feet has worn him out!)

Sounds like a relaxing and fun family day. That's what holidays should be all about.

Seeing my friend was such a treat - she has had some difficult years due to her exH but is back on the way up!
