Skull Rock looks so amazing! Glad you liked your Mission Beach condo. It looks really nice. You certainly lucked out with the weather! December is usually cooler and rainy in San Diego- and we have had no rain this winter so far. Glad to see how much your family is enjoying the beach!

8 lanes of traffic, eek. That's scary.
Joshua Tree was just such a stunning place to visit!

Eight lanes were crazy! We laughed a lot how even minor roads were bigger than our main roads here!

Brilliant day with fabulous scenery. Unfortunately we are not doing Joshua tree on our trip. I have a sneaky feeling that we may have to do more than one trip to California.

Lovely photos again and the weather looks fab for you.

Your San Diego apartment looks great. We were so disappointed that we couldn’t make our itinerary work to include it on our trip last Summer, but it’s an excuse to go back.

Definitely an excuse to go back! I know we could have visted a lot more of California in the time we had but we didn't want to wear ourselves out! What we did was perfect for us!

Oh no you ended up with a headache from the heat. Obviously at the time that must have been really annoying, but I'm smiling at the thought that over in Boston we were fighting off frostbite while you guys wore hats to keep the sun off.

Tasty IHOP lunch looks good. And wow, that is a huge tv.

We saw the North East weather and muttered how happy we were on that side of the States - especially as we had been in NYC the year before!

I do get sun headaches but am not very good at wearing sunglasses!

The TV was obscene - way too big really!
