$150 is an easier figure to manage, also look as places like Olive Garden, last year they were doing buy one take one so 2 days worth of food.
Just a quick point as someone else mentioned your HRH night as been 2 days free parking, it isn't Universal Hotels charge for overnight parking

When we went last year and moved to i drive for last 4 days we had breakfast in room with pop tarts or cerel we didn't spend much we went to the supermarket and got a cooked chicken one day and had with salad other we did take away from olive garden we ordered 2 meals and there was lots of food for the 3 of us plus saved money not having to do tips and drinks there. Food is a lot cheaper off site than on x We priced up hiring a car and we saved over £300 using uber/lyft instead and that didn't include the money we would have saved on parking just cost to hire the car .
We bought a big case of water for walmart so we cheaper than paying prices in park .

Sweet Tomatoes, fantastic healthy all you can eat place, self-service - salads, pasta, baked potatoes, desserts and soft and hot drinks. Sign up quickly to their site and you’ll get offers so won’t pay more than 12 dollars per adult, less for kids. Every receipt has another voucher on the back.
Yes you can do it, and I think the suggestion of parking at Disney Springs and taking an Uber or getting Disney bus to a resort and another bus to the park makes it more of an adventure! Keep notes and receipts and do a trip report to inspire us. Have a fabulous holiday.

I think it is possible, but you should probably factor in some 'buffer money' per day just in case you miss your $100 a day target- maybe $25 more, just so if you do go over you are still in the green. Aim for $100 and hopefully you won't need the rest.

We did a cheap trip in Feb, though we did get easily tempted by eating out even though we said we wouldn't. You need to be strict, know what days you are eating out and what days you are, only buy food you need at walmart- we did end up throwing food out- making yourself go home and eat rather then giving in to hunger and getting food out (we made this mistake a lot).

Make a meal plan, look at some good recipes that won't require too many ingredients (you probably won't have spices, etc, and they are a bit of a waste of money buying whole boxes of things you will have to throw away come the end of the trip). Look at menus of restaurants you are planning on going to and work out how much it will cost- and remember to factor in the tip.

Definitely bring reusable bottles from home if you can and fill them up at the fountains around the parks.

If you wanted to be really cost effective you could even buy ice cream tub and keep it in your villa for a treat when you get back from the parks- a lot cheaper then a single park ice cream would cost!

Bring your own snacks to the parks if you think you'll be tempted in the day. We bought these massive sub sandwiches from walmart- footlong ones- for $3 each and then split them in two and they fed both of us for lunch one day. We just brought them into the parks in our bag. Bring freezer bags from home so you don't have to buy them out there.

Try and limit the amount of time you spend around shops and hanging around cafes or quick service to avoid the temptation.

We always stay in a villa, have a late breakfast at 'home' and then one meal out later in the day.

So breakfast can be done very cheaply...

As for eating out, don't forget about Chilli's, they are currently running a $10 deal which is a soft drink, salad or soup and a main course.

We found the food and service to be fab and ate there four times on our last visit!

Not much too add to what has been said but remember that while you are away you are "saving" fuel and food at home so add the normal budget for them to your holiday funds.

Also last year we took cereal and snacks from home (remember and declare them) partly as DH has to eat gluten free and secondly as cheaper than over there which kept costs down. We also bought big tubs of ice cream, bananas and sauces over there and had ice-cream sundaes in the evening which saved more and still felt like a treat.

You'll easily do it on $150, possibly less. Sign up now to a few restaurants and you'll get offers through by email. We loved Sweet Tomatoes last year and think we paid $10.99 for dinner and a drink with a discount voucher.
Also Olive Garden often run a buy one take one deal, so you eat in the restaurant and they give you another meal to take home for the next day. Millers Ale House have some great daily deals on.
Hope you have a wonderful time!

A good way to budget if you are taking dollars is to divide it into daily envelopes. Say you decide to budget $130 per day, split it over 14/15 envelopes.. That way you can carry over any unused dollars to the next day.
Don't forget about accounting for tips if you eat at table service places. In most off site places drinks are refillable for free, and you can ask for a cup of water at any food outlets in the parks if you aren't keen on the fountain water.
