What's your favourite non park (but onsite) 1 TS lunch?

Such good responses and food for thought from my last question that I'm throwing out another!

We have booked an ADR for Rainforest at Disney Springs for our first lunch. We won't be activating our park tickets until the next day (so need to be non-park) and wanted to start off with a fun meal. (2A and DS14, DD12)

Last time we did T-Rex and we have already booked Storybook Dining, Citricos, Cali Grill, Sanaa (and probably Boma for breakfast after my last post).

Please share with me what restaurants you think will start off our time at Disney with a bang

Thanks again Dibbers!

For kids that age I'd go for Splitsville over Rainforest Cafe. Rainforest is in the very bottom tier of restaurants for me and I'd never choose to go there. Awful service, noisy, bang average food - no thanks. Splitsville however is excellent and you can go bowling for an hour after your meal!

Ooh Trail's End at Fort Wilderness is always a must for me! Great buffet, lovely location and just a boat ride away from MK.

Splitsville is a great shout.

My favourite is Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge, but as you'll already be visiting WL for Storybook Dining I'm inclined to suggest elsewhere, as it's fun to visit the different resorts.

My go-to would be Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club, they are closing for refurb at the beginning of August so you'll be able to just catch them. Unfortunately, ADRs are hard to come by, you'll have to be patient but you will get one eventually, even if it is the day before!

I always think a character meal is good at the beginning. Maybe Chef Mickey or Cape May Cafe.

What about Raglan Road at Disney springs? That's a fun restaurant with the Irish dancing and music. The food is lovely too.

I’d choose your favourite Disney Springs single credit restaurant if that’s where you’re going to be. There is such a lot of choice there. Or the 1900 Park Fare character dinner. Raglan Road also has great evening entertainment. If staying at OKW I’d suggest Olivia’s as a hidden gem but wouldn’t travel there just to eat.
