7th Trip, 1st TR, Christmas 2016

My first attempt at a TR and I'm not sure how far I will get! I've read many TRs since 2006 and they've kept me going between trips so thought I would have a go! This is me (48) and DD (13) in Central Park in September on our girls only trip.

We fly out on 17th December, taking DD out of school for the last three days of term. DH has to take Christmas off so we decided to go a week before and take advantage of the slightly smaller crowds. We have been at Christmas before but flew out on 27th and did a 7 days Disney cruise so never really got the Christmas WDW experience.

This is our 7th trip but DH has only been once so looking forward to showing him everything. This is also our first stay in a villa - we usually stay onsite or in a condo with shared pool. We are looking forward to less park time, by which I mean one "go" a day at a park - we usually do Park morning, home for rest, park evening... but as it will be so busy and we've been so many times we thought a bit more relaxing.

Very excited now to be going back, DD is 13 and her first trip she was 3, so we are veterans!

First morning DD wants all American breakfast at IHOP, you can't tell from the pic the size of this but it was huge! It's toasted marshmallow hot chocolate. I had water 😂

My breakfast - NYC cheesecake pancakes. Ate two of the four - delicious!

DHs huge breakfast - country fried steak - he loved it and DD polished off the leftovers. In his defence we were up at 5 so he was starving! Bill total $30 with top.

We are flying out on the 22nd December to WDW for our first Christmas away from home, have a great time! 🌲🌲🌲
