Using Fastpass Tickets

Ok I have set up my account

Booked fast pass tickets

How do I actually use them, as I have only used the old system where they gave you a printed ticket to hand in when going on the ride.

If you have a magic band, you tap it to the entry post like at park entry. If not, you use your ticket instead

Also if you dont use them they just drop off the system and count as " used" for the purpose of booking your 4/5/6th after the initial three.
