Hi all
Have been monitoring a number of threads and have a few questions I need help with. A. Pay on location or pre pay on line ?.. B. Family of 4 but 2 guests staying for 2 of 3 weeks so what size car do I need. ? C. What tick boxes do I need to include in car hire (insurances etc) ? D. Better to use French site and English language, Why ? E. Quote for an escalade ticking no boxes for 3 weeks was £475 but pay at location only ? ! Please help as a total newbie to all this Thanks |

B. Well, of there's 6 of you for most of the trip then you're going to need something with 7 seats.
So a full size suv, a people carrier (van), or premium suv, the latter off the Hertz France site, if the offers available for your dates. The hertz site in France is currently showing a good offer on the premium suv , hence people using it. It's coming in cheaper than a normal 5 seat suv. The reason in English, is unless you speak reasonable french in order to make sure you are booking what it is you want. In general, most websites in Europe will include the insurance you need, unless you want personal insurance (don't recall the exact name ) and personal belongings insurance, or something. The US sites don't include the insurance we need. Paying at location doesn't bother me, but I know many people prefer the security of knowing that the price is locked in. That's c and d answered too, but possibly not a or e LOL

Ok. Don't think I can say no to a deal of £475 in the prestige range for 3 weeks.
