Fantastic vehicle to drive & very quiet after driving several Town & Countrys' many times over the years this is a massive improvement, the Sat Nav system is excellent to use. It had a reversing camera which made it so easy to park as well

Picked up at moo on the 29 December originally for 14 days from alamo. Car category was a convertible and 1st had a silver v6 mustang with 33k on the clock.

Car was terrible the gear box would randomly change gear when on a steady cruise or when pulling away would do a wild jerk motion and the infotainment kept crashing and freezing. Car also had lots of scratches and dents on it.

This then got switched out within 5 days to a red 2.3litre ecoboost mustang.

This one worked better without the above faults but still had 20k on the clock and multiple dents and scratches.

My opinion both the mustangs were very poor cars. Uncomfortable seats, poor luggage space and even on smooth roads the ride was awful. I would never hire one again.

Edited at 12:14 PM. Reason: forgot to add hire company

March 22nd at MCO.

Ford Explorer.

Standard SUV from Alamo... Lots of choices, took this as like a bigger SUV and was cleanest and least damaged. Fully kitted out, working Sat Nav too is a bonus. Very nice drive.

7 seater minivan. Via mco.

No Chrysler Pacifica available when we arrived but 4 x dodge caravan were left. Waited for 5 mins to see if any Pacifica came in and we got lucky with this one.

Working sat nav, leather remote doors and engine start up. Also had blind spot mirrors which was a bonus.

Lovely motor and nice to drive. Had 5 adults and 2 kids and was fine for days out but would not have fitted 7 people's luggage. We had a second car to spread the load but this was perfect for 7 without luggage.

Standard suv

09th -21st April
Company booked with (Alamo via Virgin holidays)
Category booked : STD SUV
Category received: STD SUV
Vehicle received: Ford Explorer Limited

Arrived yesterday, row was full of Santa Fe's Sports (the UK shape) plus a couple of the US LWB versions. Other choices were a couple of Kia Sorrento's and Dodge Journeys, but then found the gem I was looking for near the end of the line.. fully loaded leather, working sat nav, heated and cooled seats, steering wheel, remote start etc and 2 usable extra seats in the rear that raise electronically. Car had only done 3k miles when we picked it up. Only downside, 19 mpg..

Rental company: Alamo Brits
Booked class: Standard SUV
Vehicle: Nissan Pathfinder SV
Mileage on clock: 2500
Dates: 28/04/17 - 13/05/17

Got to the Alamo garage at around 6:30pm. Decent amount of cars to choose from in the Standard SUV row, much better than the 4 we had to choose from in September! We went with the Pathfinder. Really nice vehicle, decent power, smooth to drive, really spacious with both leg room and boot space, has 7 seats but as only 4 of us we always had the 2 at the back folded down giving a huge boot! Fit 4 large cases and hand luggage comfortably.

We picked this from a a row of cars that included 4 Jeep Compass's a Hyundai Sante Fe and a Black Buick of some kind. They were all 50 shades of grey so we chose the only non grey/black car.

Our son especially liked the arm rest that came down in the back with cup holders in and seperate air condition blower.

Wasn't much to choose from when we arrived, waited a while but nothing better arrived so took this, low mileage and no bodywork damage. Overall it was ok, comfortable, roomy, not exactly a rewarding drivers car. Plenty of room for our luggage with the 3rd row of seats folded down.
