Aquatica QuickQueue discontinued?

After notifying SeaWorld that the page to buy quickqueue passes for Aquatica online didn't work (which was ignored), I notice the page has now been removed from their website entirely. Do I take it that this system is no longer in operation? It's rather a shame as it would have been very convenient for us!

Good question, we went in 2015 (July) and I do not believe Aquatica had Quick Queue passes - if they did I would have bought them, unless I missed them

Just did a quick Google and seems some people purchased them last year so they must have been around in 2015..schoolboy error on my part! But like you quite rightly say the webpage is no longer available on the Seaworld site.

Several websites (including now dead links on the official website) reference it, I believe as being new for 2016, which explains why it wasn't there for your visit. Presumably it wasn't successful and is quietly being done away with.

That's interesting. Shame, I'd have definitely got it - anything to miss a queue.

Cheers, and enjoy your trip, looks like you are there the same time as us.

Indeed, I'm hoping that by going midweek the queues aren't too bad, but it would have been much nicer for the small proportion of our group interesting in doing every slide (perhaps with the exception of all 8 lanes of Taumata Racer!) i.e. mainly me, to get the quick queue pass and have the rest of the group go without. Hopefully the system they implement at Volcano Bay is more successful as given the number of rides they're likely to have, it's going to be a challenge to get it all done on a busy day, not that I'll get to see it for at least another year or two yet!

Likewise, it is a rather odd feeling to be discussing these things with someone else who'll be out there at the same time!

We were there last August and saw the QQ lines. Always almost empty so probably not worth the extra effort needed as no one seemed to be buying the pass.

Finally received a reponse to my tweet this evening:

Fingers crossed our visit is peak - the cabana prices are at their highest on the date I intend to visit so I suppose that's a good sign.
