Umbrellas and Cabanas at water parks ?

Anyone know how much are these please , we're looking at hiring one when we go . But I can't seem to find anything on WDW website other than you can call to reserve ?

If you hired either was it worth it?

Think we're go for the umberellas as cheaper.

We have hired the umbrellas at Typhoon Lagoon. Never done it before so can't say how good it will be! We are going in May. I think it was around about $60ish for an umbrella, 2 loungers and 2 chairs in a special area. Had to ring to get. Will post the number later but wasn't easy as some CM'S didn't know about them.

Edit. Reserve in advance by calling 407-WDW-PLAY (407-939-7529).

We hired a cabana at BB last year and it was worth every penny. Lovely secluded area, fenced off so only people hiring them could enter. Huge box full of iced water and a lovely CM to sort everything out for us She gave us her mobile and said just to ring if we wanted anything. Reclining chairs for us all. Super lunch delivered when we ordered it. All in all we will do it again when we go back next year.

We have booked a cabana at TL for July. Only been once before and got seriously stressed by the amount of people in such close proximity... cabana at least gives us some space and guaranteed shade too.

We hired the umbrella with chairs at Typhoon Lagoon...it was inexpensive and they are in a private roped off area; close to everything. We are going this year and will definitely do the same again.

How much did you pay for the cabana if you don't mind me asking?

We always hire the umbrellas - cost us about £50 for April this year. You get 2 sun lingers, a table and an umbrella in a private area.

Its well worth the money for us as we like somewhere more secluded to relax in.

Last time we went our umbrella was next to the cabana and we agreed these wouldn't be worth it for us (apart from when it rains ) as we don't spend that much time at them

What's the availability like? Is it essential to book in advance for a cabana or umbrella, or can you just turn up and pay for one?
