We only had cupcakes and coffee/juice (and the free pastries) because we'd read mixed reviews of the food and were paying OOP. The main attraction for us was first in the queue to see Anne & Elsa at Fairytale Hall but with the new rope drop process we won't bother again (to see the new princesses obvs!).

Is the BOG dinner any good, am struggling to find anything we may like on the menu, can you just have starter and dessert?

We paid OOP for it last year and both had the steak. It was nice enough but we spent over $100 for two us with soft drinks and a dessert that wasn't very nice. I wouldn't even waste a dining plan credit on it this year. We'll do breakfast and lunch but no dinner. And breakfast is only so we get into the park early. Lunch for the Master Cupcake!

We went twice last May. I would never pay for it off of plan but it was a good use of a credit. I have allergies and felt very safe there.
I had the sliced meats and hubby had the poached egg baguette both times. He loved it. They gave me a different bread and it wasn't enough - would have been terrible value if I'd paid for it - but it was very tasty and I had my own three slices of cake which were delicious! DH still got the usual pastries. I had the milk as my drink and it was a teeny tiny carton. I'd go back in a heartbeat, so long as I didn't have to actually pay for it ;-) |

We enjoyed our breakfast at BOG. We've been twice
Dinner is our favourite, we love the steak! We had mains and desserts both times so I don't see why you couldn't just have a starter and a dessert

I enjoyed mine - I decided to try the gluten free waffles, which came with 3 slices of gluten free cake. All really nice IMO. I was going to book BoG breakfast again for this year, but DD didn't want to go again. So not bothered, plus as mentioned one of main benefits was getting in line for fantasyland 1st, but possibly won't happen now.

Sorry, another negative review. We went for breakfast. Cold food. Worst meal of the holiday. We wouldn't do a QS meal there again.

We loved it !
We were on DDP, so as others have said, probably not the best value if you're paying OOP, but as a QS credit, we thought it was fantastic value. We had three different choices, and we were all happy with our food. As for the venue, it was amazing! If we're lucky enough to go back to Disney, and it's still on QS, we'll be back in a shot! |
