Good shout but nope it does not accept the booking number! That's not looking good.

How long does it take for Alamo customer services to reply to emails normally?

And just to clarify the £342 has already been taken from my credit card.

I'll feed back when I get a reply back from customer service.

The downside is it says I can't cancel or admend on line and that I have to ring us number to admend or cancel.

Edit when I use the link in the email to modify and cancel then yes it takes me to my booking via the beta site and I can amend or cancel on line.

Edited at 01:38 PM.

James,
I assume you have tried to amend cancel from the beta site.

I don't have any experience with Alamo's customer services but Dollar's customer services where basically none existent when I tried to contact them some years ago. Hope Alamo are a lot more efficient in replying to you.

James,

Might be worth contacting your credit card company, they will be more than familiar with customers booking through car hire rentals, in your case Alamo. They might be able to confirm that the payment has or is in the process of being made to Alamo and not some other bogus account. Might just put your mind at ease.

Hi All,

Just to say, I made a booking through this beta site and then was able to go to Alamo.com with the confirmation number and complete OLCI with no problems, it also listed all the correct details for the booking too, so doesn't seem to be a scam

Thanks!
