Obtaining tickets for Fastpass
Sorry if this post is in the wrong place - feel free to move it if it is.
The penny has just dropped that although we have booked a package holiday, I've no idea how we get our tickets to book for our fastpass at 60 days out! My Disney Experience just lists the following but my friend and I are now confused as to what happens next! The TA seemed to mention that we would get a paper ticket to exchange for the actual ticket in US, but now I wonder if he is telling porkies! How can we collect a ticket in the US and our fastpass window have gone! Tickets and Passes 14 Day Ultimate Ticket with Memory Maker Age: 10 and older If anyone can help as to what we need to do, please dive in Thanks |

If your tickets are showing on MDE then you don't need to worry and will be able to book fastpasses once you hit your 60 day mark. When booking an on-site package with tickets, all you need to do is link your resort reservation and everything else is linked automatically. You don't even need to collect tickets when you get there as you'll use your magic bands which link to the information on your mde account

Oh thank you, our TA is telling us right porkies then!
So we've linked to MDE, and on check in we get our magic bands and then can go straight into any park if I am reading this correctly? |

TA information can be very hit and miss (more miss!) so you'll get much better advice on here from people who've actually been, used the system and know how it works
When you check in you'll get your magic bands and are good to go. They act as your room key, tickets, fastpasses, memory maker, dining plan (if you have one) and for charging to your room. Have you personalised them yet?

Haven't personalised the magic bands yet, mind you we only found that option this afternoon!
We also found out we had to book magical express as well which TA did not mention! Oh well we are picking up lots of tips from the helpful Dibb board😀 |

Hi, did the TA advise you on doing your esta. This should be a priority if not already done. Hopefully they did. You will find lots of invaluable information here on The Dibb. No question is too small. Happy planning!

If you have not done it here is the link for the online Magic express booking.
disneyworld.disney.go/ai...n=Sub+Networks While it is included with Disney bookings its not booked for you. TAs tend to forget this!

Wow... our TA didn't tell us about having to book 😳 How in advance do you need to do it?
Iv had a look at the forms online and notice you have to put your resort on. Only yesterday we changed our resort from CSR to all star music. Our MDE still shows CSR on our plans. Am I right in thinking I should wait till Disney have the new info until I book to save them any confusion |

There's no rush, so don't panic. Wait until your booking has updated then book it

Like you we booked through a travel agent, Thomas Cook.
A couple of weeks ago I wanted our Disney reference as although we have QSDP I wanted to book Be our guest breakfast & lunch plus a few other meals whilst there. I popped in to Thomas Cook, they made a phone call & I had my Disney reference within a few minutes. I haven't even finished paying for our holiday so I was worried that they wouldn't give it to me until our balance is paid (due in May) but they didn't even consider not giving it to me. |
