15 days of Disney dining!
Hello everyone,
After our amazing trip this August with 15 days of Disney dining and plenty of photos to share I thought it only right to get on with my dining reviews. Myself and my family love to read everyone else's food and trip reports so it is only right to give something back! Another reason for this food report is to keep me busy, I will be having some help from my Mum as we are both dieting after all this food! The restaurants below are where we visited and the links will be added in due course: Walt Disney World resort: D - Crews Cup Lounge L - Beaches & Cream L - Olivia's Café D - Grand Floridian Café D - Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano (FDP) D - California Grill D - Boatwrights D - Narcoossee's D - Rainforest Cafe D - Sanna D - La Cava del Tequila after hours D - Trails End D - Yachtsman Steakhouse D - The Plaza L - Flame Tree BBQ L - Contempo Café L - Gasparilla Island Grill L - Wolfgang Puck Express L - Landscape of Flavours D - Eating around World Showcase L - Columbia Harbour House L - Boardwalk Bakery L - Pepper Market Off Site: (Non DDP) L - Food Court at Mall at Millenia D - Bahama Breeze

Crews Cup Lounge
We love this lounge after discovering it last year before our meal at Yachtsman Steakhouse. It is so relaxed and the food is amazing as it is made in the Yachtsman's kitchen. It was our first meal in Florida after we landed and was so nice to have a meal and drink in the bar and then stagger to our room later very tired after the journey. We went to the Crew's Cup twice for dinner during the holiday and paid OOP. [edit] DDP is not accepted at the Crew's Cup lounge. New England Clam Chowder Creamy Chowder with Clams, Potatoes, and Vegetables $7.49 Angus Chuck Cheeseburger Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, and Cheese served with your choice of Vegetable Orzo Salad or French Fries $12.99

Mall at Millenia Food Court
Visiting the Mall at Millenia has become a tradition for us on the first full day. There is one reason alone for me to visit and that is the honey chicken! I have no idea about the prices I'm afraid as we did not keep the receipts... just enjoy the food! Spinach wrap with chicken and side salad Corned beef sub and honey chicken in the background

Beaches and Cream
Although this is very small it is well worth a visit! We had made an ADR and were seated very quickly. I love the theme of this place and of course the ice creams! We did not see any kitchen sinks this time but saw the lights flashing regularly when we were in Stormalong Bay. Angus Beef Burger served with Cheddar, Lettuce, and Tomato on a Fresh-baked Bun with choice of fresh Fruit for French Fries $14.99 Beaches Angus Beef Burger served with Ham, Swiss Cheese, Sautéed Onions, Horseradish-Mustard Sauce, Lettuce, and Tomato on a Fresh-baked Bun with choice of fresh Fruit or French Fries $15.49 Salmon Sandwich Seared Salmon on Multigrain Croissant with Arugula, Dill Mayonnaise, and Pickled Cucumber and Onion served with House-made Pickles and choice of French Fries or Fruit $14.99 As we were all full we shared the Milky Way Sundae: Three Scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream, Hot Fudge, Caramel, and Whipped Cream topped with Dark and White Chocolate Shavings and a Cherry $8.49

Olivia's Café
Olivia's has become something of a tradition for us too after some great meals here and it is never too busy. Having said that it was quite busy the day we went due to a group of conventioners but we were still seated within 5 minutes. We loved everything we had this time and the conch fritters are one of my favourites. The bread pudding was a first for me and my dad and we loved it, really nice Conch Fritters with Key Lime-Mustard and Rémoulade $10.49 Shrimp and Grits Sautéed Shrimp with Vegetables, Tasso Ham, and fresh Herbs served over Olivias Famous Grits $21.99 Mallory Square Cobb Salad Romaine Lettuce with layers of Chilled Shrimp, Crab Salad, Bacon, Egg, Blue Cheese, Tomato, and Avocado with a Key-Lime Mustard Vinaigrette $18.49 Catch of the Day with Roasted Potatoes, Succotash, and Lemon-Tarragon Butter (Market Price) Key Lime Tart with Mango and Raspberry Sauce $5.49 Banana Bread Pudding Sundae served warm with Bananas Foster topping and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream $6.49

Grand Floridian Café
Last year we went here for breakfast and as I had been for dinner a couple of years ago my mum and dad had not been for dinner before. I think we had all made our minds up what we were having before we even got here... lobster on a burger anyone, yes I thought so We decided to save a DDP credit here and pay OOP, hence no desert. A few drinkies before dinner... why not? Grand Floridian Burger Angus Chuck Burger, Butter-poached Lobster, Red Onion Marmalade, and Arugula on a Brioche Bun with Chips $18.49 We subbed the chips for fries, our server was very good and said that we could have 'chips' not 'crisps' He was very proud that he knew the 'English' version of chips :

Flame Tree BBQ
Does this place need any introduction... thought not! We all love this place and is always a must do at DAK, for a QS the food is lovely and never disappoints. We used the DDP here but paid OOP for the fries and onion rings which were not included on the DDP. Smoked Chicken Salad A delightful Salad with barbecue style; Freshly-smoked Chicken, Mixed Greens, Arugula, shredded Carrots, Pinto and Garbanzo Beans, Tortilla Chips and Corn, tossed in a house-made Barbecue Vinaigrette and drizzled with Chipotle Ranch Dressing $9.49 1/2 Chicken Marinated, Slow-smoked Chicken, served with our signature Baked Beans and tangy Coleslaw $10.99 Pork Sandwich Layers of delicious, smoked, pulled Pork piled high in a fresh, soft Bun, served with refreshing Coleslaw $9.49
