Getting MK from yacht club
We are staying at the YC for our first 5 nights and on our very first full day we plan to hit magic kingdom early (crystal palace early breakfast). I assume our only option to get to MK is to drive (we will have a car) ? I know we can walk to Epcot and boardwalk, also get a boat to hollywood studios?
Thanks |

As above, all Disney hotels provide buses (where there isn't a monorail/boat option) to get to the other parks.
They start running a couple of hours before park opening until a couple of hours after park close, and turn up every 10-20 minutes at your resort. This will be your easiest option to make it for an early ADR

Bus almost always quicker when you're heading to MK as you don't have to do the TTC then boat or monorail - bus drops you close to the entrance.

Bus is surprisingly quick from Yacht Club to MK. Although last year for our Crystal a Palace ADR we slept in and made it by the skin of our teeth, no reflection on the transport at all
We were at the Yacht Club last year for 18 nights with no car and had no transport issues.

Thanks x would you say buses from YC is better/quicker than using our own car? On their buses do you still have to get the monorail etc?

Bus is always best to magic kingdom as it takes you right to the gate. No ferry or monorail required

That sounds great! Thanks are they pretty reliable? I have read so e horror story's about it taking hours to get to parks etc in the buses!
Also (sorry) do they have a time table or do you just turn up and wait? And is it easy to find where you catch the bus? And can you take a pram on? ( sorry but with 3 children, youngest 2 the more information the better, fore warned etc ) Edited at 06:44 PM. |

See answers above - get to the bus stop an hour before your ADR time - you will get there early no probs
