Dropping off our hire car after hours?

Hi there!

We've booked a hire car for one of our days in Orlando but we think we may be dropping the car back when the car care centre is shut, does anyone know if that means all the shuttles stop also? Will it be a taxi ride back to the resort?

Any tips on how others have done this if possible?

If you tell us who you have booked with and where you intend dropping the car off somebody will most likely have the answer.

Oh, I think its with Alamo, probably around 7-8pm possibly

Can you keep the car overnight and return it when the office opens the following morning?

Hmm yeah sounds like we're going to have to get a cab which is slightly annoying! It's our shopping day and on the weekend also!

It might be as cheap to book for 2 days!

If you book a car for a day it's for 24 hours, not a calendar day. So if you take it out at 9:30am that's what time it's due back the next day. You don't have to take it back that evening.

2 days is what you need a few $$ more but makes sense from your original post, you enjoy having a car for day 2 as well.

They could charge for an extra day if it's not returned within the agreed 24 hour slot!
