Are the prices for the iPhone 42mm watch much cheaper in Florida than the uk

The price is the same in £ and $ - so the exchange rate will dictate the saving:

Series 1 42mm is £299 or $299 dollars
Series 2 42mm is £399 or $399 dollars

So with the current exchange rate is works out at about 20% cheaper.

I'm planning to get one on my 50th birthday trip in February. I'm planning to pre-order on for pick up at Florida Mall on our first full day.

With sales tax added they work out about £75 cheaper. Apple will honour the warranty in the U.K.

How did you pre order for the states

the price is as you say $299 for series 1 or $399 for series 2 42mm in aluminium with florida sales tax of 6% this = $319 and $426 respectively

at todays best exchange rate this would =
series 1 usa price £256 uk price £299 saving £43
series 2 usa price £342 uk price £399 saving £57

with defence discount service it brings it down further to £36 and £48 difference which i am not sure its worth the hassle for

At least it has the really nice folding uk plug with it
