We love the DLH and this is usually our first choice mainly because of location.

But I must admit that for our next trip we will also be looking at the other hotels due to the extra charge for breakfast in the DLH, which is £23 for adults and £21 for children per day. This added to the room charge makes it about £1000 more expensive than a Empire State Room at HNY for Adults and 1 teen, where breakfast is included.

All part of the fun. Not to mention the ice rink that is at the HNY in December...

Still each to their own hey... :-)

This is us! We've been debating the DLH but missed out on the breakfast booking earlier on, so now we'll have no breakfast. We've always loved the breakfast at DLH but wouldn't pay 27 euros for it every day. At the moment it's unclear if you can just pay and go one day, booking when you get there. This would be an option for us.

But then I'm looking at NPB CC and it's almost £800 less for our dates - including all the perks!

I love the location of DLH though so it's really difficult to make a decision. I wouldn't pay for half board as I'm a shareholder so get TS discount.

We have used both hotels over recent years and would always book DLH for its style and location especially Castle Club. But now having to pay for breakfast it looks like the HNY will be prime choice as I think the price is just too high. Whilst the rest of our family/party enjoyed the HNY, I felt it lacked atmosphere and was a little dull. We are planning a return trip in Oct 2017 and will be looking at HNY (possibly Empire Club if feasible) as it looks like it would be the most affordable option.

We have now booked the DLH but I think it will be our last time. I just think the price is way too high considering they don't even offer breakfast - and considering you get breakfast in say SQL GF and NPB CC which are £100s cheaper, I just can't see the reasoning behind it. I would have thought for the standard price of DLH (considering it is more than any other hotel), that they would have continued to offer breakfast!

Anyway, we are where we are, sure they won't change it now!

Re ESC, if it's on offer (currently is for our dates next May) then it is cheaper than NPB CC (for our dates anyway). However, I don't know if you know, but you no longer get VIP FP with ESC, so it's sort of had a downgrade and with that, I think came the slightly cheaper prices. Just thought I'd mention is as the price is way less than DLH, but might not be aware of the FP situation.
