My niece lived in Hoboken and the view is lovely but I think Carlos bakery is disappointing, especially since there are a lot of other very good options in the area.

My teens loved climbing up the pedestal.of sol. Lots of instagrammable moments there. Not so interested in Ellis Island.
They loved front Street pizza in Brooklyn, by the bridge and the walk back with ice creams at the end. The glass cube apple store. The thing they liked best was an evening harbour lights cruise. We paid extra for the top deck (? Premium seats or something) well worth it. |

Radio City Tour if she is interested in dance etc... its really interesting & a fabulous art deco building with a chance to meet at a Rockette at the end
Ellens the food is average at best but if you like loud massively enthusiastic show tunes then its an option imo |

Apologies for not responding to some great suggestions made - I really appreciate people chipping in!
There are a few things I was either not aware of, or was only vaguely aware of and had not really considered such as The Ride, The Beast and the NBC tour - all of which I think could be winners. Ellen's is something I've not bothered with before but, again, I think she will love. The super hero tour is also a great idea. She's very into the Marvel films so I'm going to check that out. I'm slightly concerned about the heat - there are some real feels of 39 degrees forecast - but a quick search threw up a bus tour of the same so I'll look into that further. It's only a few days until we o so I really need to get my ≈≈≈≈ into gear with our plans. What I'd already decided on... - Central Park - 9/11 Memorial - Statten Island ferry to get a look at the SOL (check out Empire Outlets on the other side) - Brooklyn Bridge walk - Top of the Rock and/or Empire State - Times Square - Coney Island (we both love rides) - Seeing New York City FC at home (Sunday night) - Seeing the NY Mets at home (Monday night) - A show. Seems to be Frozen tickets available which should go down well. I had contemplated getting a car and heading out to Six Flags Great Adventure, but I think we'll give this a miss as we have the Orlando theme parks coming up in a few weeks. I'm also mulling Woodbury Common, but a day trip out on a bus doesn't really appeal - I'll give it some more thought... |

You’ll love the ride, much better at night, than the day though!
Make sure if you see it,when you’re out & about,to give them a wave,as it does add to the experience,as you will see. Tracy x
