Quarantine - new holiday?
So did anyone take advantage of the proposed changes in quarantine to book anything today - seeing as today is reported to have been the busiest Saturday for bookings ever?

Yes. No Florida so decided we are going to do 6 nights in Berlin, a week at home, then 5 nights in Cornwall. I've got BA flights on hold for 72 hours for Berlin and our hotel is fully refundable.
Husband is NHS and has been working flat out, so wanted to get him away for a 'proper' break. Berlin was his suggestion and Cornwall mine

YEAH for everyone!
I would have loved to go to Greece - but it was coming out at over£1000 and DH really didnt want to fly  So we have booked a return trip on the tunnel for 10 nights in France at the end of August. (I have the leave booked at work but at the moment we are supposed to get approval re quarantine - but by Monday im sure we'll be fine she says with fingers well and truly crossed  )We used our Tesco vouchers so only paid £30 in cash - mind you the website was impossible to use as it crashed  We will have 2 nights outside of Paris with my cousin and then head down to the Dordogne for a week, finishing up our last night with my cousin again. I had been looking at camping in Switzerland but DH has now got his eye set on somewhere he went as a kid  Good job everyone! |

I have been toying with the idea of a solo trip to DLP, the price was ok but I wasn’t 100% decided so didn’t book. Then in the last couple of days the same short trip has increased by about £600, combination of increase in room and removing the dining plan offer. So I think I will leave it.

Yes booked an all inclusive week in Crete at end of August, something to look forward to as we will no longer be going to Las Vegas and San Diego.
