I’ve got no imagination for things like this so I love to look at ideas on Pinterest.

These are some of the things I’ve made over the last few years. The cork ones and the cinnamon stick ones are from last year. I did think about getting a stall at one of our local pubs who have a Christmas teepee ,but don’t know if
1)it will go ahead this year
2)if I’m up to standard
3)if I have time to make things.

I do crafts for Christmas - usually one thing a year. I started by making an advent calendar (20 years ago!)

added a tree skirt

and the past few years have been beading...

This year's one is underway...

I usually work from kits.

I would love to do an advent calendar. Did you have a kit for this?

It was a couple of bits of fabric all printed up from Hobbycraft - one was the base piece with blank squares and a fancy edge, another with strips of the numbered squares on and a sewing guide. I had to provide the wadding, backing, stick and cord. It was relatively easy to do - I had a sewing machine, would have taken a long time by hand.

The pockets on this one are ideal for 2 Heroes or Celebrations or chocolate coins.
