I'm making bench cushions for my window seat, help?

Hi all!

My foam just arrived for a little crafty project I'm working on but I'm hopeless so I'm after some advice. I'm making 2 bench cushions for my window.

I have hardwood and foam, and the plan is to wrap the foam up with fabric like a present and staple the fabric underneath the hardboard. I'm waiting on my fabric samples so here is what I have thus far.

They're stacked to flatten out the foam a bit. Do you think I should wrap them in wadding before the fabric goes on to cushion it out a bit?

You could do but tack the wadding down or it might slide and bunch up when you go to staple the fabrics or at a later date I normally use a large curved needle if laying wadding over foam if I’m not using buttons to secure it as well as staples

Thank you! I was going to use a spray adhesive to stick the foam to the board, do you think I could use this to stick the wadding to the foam?
