Train to be a Jedi
Hi, when you get in park I know this is a must to do first thing, but where do you go to sign up for this? Flying out tomorrow, my 5 year old really excited as he loves star wars, he was too little last time round.
Thanks

Our son loved this - it’s very hot on the stage so try and get an early time. Also gets cancelled if any threat of rain. Good luck, it’s a stampede at rope drop!
disneyworld.disney.go/en...jedi-training/ Edit: You must have your son with you when registering.

As noted above, head to indiana jones outpost, it is signed as you get there. Keep in mind he has to be there to register.
I think you still want to go there first thing, but this is not as busy as it used to be. Try to get an earlier slot when it is a tiny bit cooler as it all happens on a stage in direct sunlight. |

We went to do this but it got cancelled due to the rain. Our son was gutted and they don’t let you come back the next day ... you have to queue again.

Took us three attempts in our 2016 holiday to get this, with the first two being cancelled for thunder storms. Third time lucky, and tyke loved it.
As others have said, get to the park before rope drop, and then speed-march (apparently one is not allowed to run) to Indiana Jones outpost to try to bag a morning slot to reduce the risk of the afternoon t-storms affecting it. Good luck, it's really good fun for the little ones |

We did this last month. Hollywood Studios opened at 9am, we were there at 815 and signed up for the 940 Jedi training. They let you in to the lake (not sure what time, probably 8am?) so you can easily wander to the sign up. We were signed up by 830 (no queue). Then walked through some shops, and sat on a bench.
For the 940 show they wanted everyone back for 920 (latest). So we made a dash at 9am rope drop to meet BB8, then dashed back. Not sure you'd make it anywhere else as the crowds are heading to Toy Story. It was very very hot! |

We did it a couple of years ago and headed over there at 9am and signed up for the 11am slot.
It was great, all the kids faces were amazing and they did get given a bottle of water once they’d finished they were absolutely boiling.
