Being reported that a thus far unnamed inmate has confessed to killing Teresa Halbach. Not sure how likely this would be to overturn the convictions of Stephen and Brendan... but with the intense focus on the case, perhaps anything is possible.

What an incredible end to the story should it turn out that this new inmate's confession is legitimate.

I saw this, but I thought the consensus was that it was Bobby Dassey and / or Scott Tadych that we’re involved?

Who knows what to think... the beauty of that show.

The article also mentions a new show, Convicting a Murderer, being created to show "the other side" of the story. The claim is that the Netflix series was one-sided and misled the audience. I suppose that production goes up in flames if it turns out out someone else confesses!

I saw that they are checking that it is viable. But apparently the person that confessed was one of the original suspects

I think my Girlfriend watched this a while back, is it the case where it looked like the police possibly planted evidence and changed statements to implicate them in the crime?

Edit: Turns out it was the same series. It's quite crooked that the law won't look into this case further.

Is this a new confession or is it the one this "Evans" guy's made? If it is, it's 100% false.
