Mobile Norwegian flying or not?

Ive seen conflicting information about Norwegian Air.
We are booked to fly in October, and as the DDP has been removed I was concerned about being stuck with Norwegian flights that I can't yet cancel.
But now I've seen two different comments suggesting Norwegian aren't flying internationally this year at all - but I can't find anything official to back this up?

I believe they have stopped long haul from the U.K. until next year at least

That was my position until reading a thread on here about the removal of DDP, and it was just casually mentioned...
The link above makes it clear.

They must be refunding money month by month to manage cash flow.

So an hour ago I was worried about having no Disney and being stuck with flights, now I haven't got flights and I'm still gutted !
I think the reality of not going to Disney this year is sinking in...

:-(

Our flight in Sept is still available to book on the Norweigan Air website ? As you say "cantwait2011" together with the dining plan chaos the whole thing is a mess. Maybe our travel agents need to find out the facts ? We paid remainder of our balance for a party of nine three days ago !

We are booked to fly with Norwegian in October, there’s been a couple of threads on here over the past week discussing the uncertainty of the airline, I’m fairly sure my flight will be cancelled at some point.

It’s frustrating that they are clearly not planning on flying this year but haven’t officially cancelled flights later this year yet...

It’s a waiting game at this point!

As things stand with current flight restrictions etc their current plan is to mothball the fleet until 2021 (aside from some domestic flights) and ramp up flights until 2022 when they'll be at full resumption.

This means that your flight will be cancelled just before it's due and you can process a refund which is taking 2+ months or so from date of due flight (at the mo)

This is their 'base case: slow recovery plan.

If, however flight restrictions are lifted on their most profitable routes then they have 'early recovery' plan to get those routes into action as they can make profit on them rather than refunding people. But a lot of that counts on the US lifting flight restrictions as the LGW into US are some of their most popular routes.

Their early recover plan (should conditions permit) has just over 20% of long haul flights resuming by Q4 2020 (fewer than 5% by Q3)

You can see all this info in the link Bronny posted, above. It'a bit of a dry read though!

So it's a case of wait and see. I have flights booked for Aug and we've cancelled the WDW stay and plan to just wait and see what happens with the flights. i expect it'll end up cancelled and we'll get a refund in time for Xmas, but things change quick and fast at the mo. If they go ahead we'll just book a villa and car last min and have a pool/beach stay.

Our September holiday package is Norwegian flights and on site.
The full balance is due next week. Not heard back from the agent yet to see if our deposit will be refunded or that we have to pay full balance and wait for the whole lot to be refunded.
We are currently out of pocket due to Virgin cancelling our return flight in March and still waiting for reimbursement ~ 3 months on 🙁

Just realised I’ve got separate outbound and inbound bookings (returning from Tampa). That means there’s an outside chance I could have one cancelled and not the other.
